Spoken word recording artist and published author Nicole E. Romeo was born in the West Indies on the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. She spent her early years in the quest for knowledge and an understanding of herself and others. That quest would lead her to seek a purpose for her existence. Her goal is that her life has meaning. She survived trauma and moved beyond survival to a fully thriving life.
Nicole's purpose is to help heal and inspire others through the written, spoken, and living word. A “Creative Chameleon,” she uses various forms of intuitive artistic expression to ignite the artist within you. She speaks life into audiences at retreats and events through the Creative Arts of poetry, dance, prophetic painting, and mixed media creations.
Through her voice, Nicole awakens creativity in others. Active in her communities, she speaks and writes as a voice for those who have no voice. She stands with those who stand against Sex Trafficking, Intimate Partner Violence, and pervasive forms of abuse or trauma.
Her workshops include: Finding your Voice; Awakening the Author Within; and Who do I Think I am. These were all founded on the principle that you must “feel it to heal it.” She co-facilitates a four-day, faith-based workshop called HeartChange, to help walk people through their personal lake of pain. Her hope is to facilitate your journey as you listen to your own heart and hear our Creator’s voice more clearly, to gain freedom from whatever has tethered you. She believes that we are only as free as the truth we tell ourselves and others. She chooses to be one of the ones who changes the world’s sad songs, one note at a time, until the whole world is a symphony!
