Nequitha Marnique Fortune was born in 1973 in East Oakland, California. She takes immense pride in her three grown children, who are thriving, meeting their goals, and maintaining good health. Professionally, Nequitha is a Licensed Vocational Nurse, currently employed at Grace and Glory Hospice in Brentwood, CA. In addition to her nursing career, she serves as a volunteer educator with the Alzheimer’s Association. Beyond her healthcare contributions, Nequitha is an inspirational speaker, life coach, and a clean standup comic. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. Nequitha is also a Licensed Minister at Covenant Church Brentwood, where she faithfully serves both the church and the community. Every morning, she awakens with a passion for her faith and a desire to share the goodness of God through her testimony. Her spiritual journey has inspired her to write about her childhood, capturing her memories and praising God for helping her overcome numerous challenges.
