She is a devoted mother of two, and balances her many roles with unwavering dedication, always prioritizing her family.
As the owner of GMG Styles, she provides ethnic hair products, braiding services, and more. Her passion for entrepreneurship drives her vision to expand GMG Styles beyond a beauty brand, transforming it into a business academy that will support aspiring entrepreneurs on their journey. She is always looking for business partners who share her vision of mentorship and economic empowerment.
Since 2018, Jessika has been deeply involved in philanthropy as a Community-Based Service Provider, working primarily with the homeless population in Butte County. She has recently expanded her mission to support individuals who have been justice-involved, using her own lived experiences to inspire and guide others toward stability, income, and housing.
In addition to her professional and entrepreneurial pursuits, Jessika is currently enrolled in college part-time, working toward degrees in Social Work and Business Administration. Jessika has felt her educational goals are a critical factor in enhancing her ability to serve her community and scale her business ventures.
With certifications as a Peer Support Specialist, Wellness and Recovery Specialist, and Re-entry Specialist, along with six years of case management experience, Jessika has dedicated her career to being a pillar of support for those in transition.
